adidas

I did a quick freelance gig at my alma mater, EVB, for a week in March to bang out the design and production for adidas' march madness site. It was an all-hands-on-deck operation, so I touched everything from the interface design and layout to the shoe photography and retouching to online banners. Good times.

Adobe

Adobe asked EVB to design and build a site to promote what was billed as the "biggest software launch in history." We came up with an experience that allows users to explore the different suites in CS3 in a choose your-own-adventure style. The site was featured on the FWA.

Posh Planet

I did a short stint at an internet start-up in San Francisco in the fall and winter of 2007. The job included interface designs for a forthcoming website aimed at luxury consumers. The images shown here are from a Flash-based demo that I art directed and designed.

Alberto Culver

At EVB I worked on the pitch to win the Albert Culver account. We were awarded the job and work to flesh out an enormous online campaign began in earnest. I worked as part of the team in charge of the Virtual Style Salon, where users could upload a photo of a face and then use the V05 Extreme Style products to style their hair.

Mobius Band

Brooklyn-based Mobius Band released their second LP, Heaven, in 2007. I was asked to design both the packaging for their album as well as their new website. The look of the site draws heavily from the album package design, and it features some nice little interactive surprises.

Michael Showalter

It was a great pleasure to work with Michael Showalter (The State, Stella, Wet Hot American Summer) and JDub Records on this debut comedy record. Michael is a serious doodler, so the look of the album draws inspiration from his simple line drawings. The project also included posters and Flash banner ads.

Wilco

To say I was excited when Wilco contacted me out of the blue to design some shirts for them would be putting it lightly. It's always great to work with bands I love, and the results are available in Wilco's webstore if you're interested.

The Hold Steady

This is the second site I designed and built for The Hold Steady, and it was rolled out to coincide with the release of their 2006 album Boys and Girls in America. As such, the design is based on their album packaging.

Ovation TV

In the fall of 2007, Ovation TV launched their first-ever original series called Art and the City. They asked Code and Theory to come up with an online concept that would tie into the theme of the show. I art directed, designed and built the online presence for the show. The screengrab featured here is a collage representing all the cities the series covers. It was meant to be an interactive piece that users could explore to learn more about the show, but, unfortunately, time constraints caught up with us.

Code and Theory

Every designer I know is obsessed with the iPhone. My friends at Code and Theory are no exception. Since the agency's site is built in Flash and, thus, not accessible on the iPhone, we designed a version perfectly suited for the unique interface. I art directed and designed a full version of the site which will hopefully go into production soon.

Triple Threat Television

NYC-based Triple Threat Television is an Emmy award winning production company. They approached me in 2007 to help them develop their online presence. The result was a simple, clean site that focuses heavily on showing off their work, their casual, creative ethos and their dedication to quality television.

Mobius Band

It was an honor to be asked to design the packaging for Mobius Band's second LP. The songs on the album focus on betrayal, disillusionment and relationships gone horribly awry, and the forbidden fruit on the cover alludes to these themes.

Spark Networks

I worked at Spark Networks (parent company of JDate.com) for 3 years. During my time as part of the creative team, we won a Webby (2005), for our work on JDate.com.

Role

- Art Direction
- Design

Dim Mak Records

I served as Art Director at Dim Mak Records (Bloc Party, Battles, The Gossip) from 2004 to 2006. During my time there I designed innumerable posters, flyers, microsites and CD samplers.

Role

- Art Direction
- Design

EVB

While at EVB I took on the extra-curricular role as part of the team tasked with designing a new site for the agency.
